Chemotherapy patients can experience burning, numbness and shooting pains after chemo, especially in their fingers and toes.
At the Stonebrook Project, we specialize in Oncology Massage Therapy, designed to alleviate many of the common symptoms associated with chemotherapy.
Oncology Massage therapy works to:
Improve quality of life
Reduce anxiety
Manage pain
Improve quality of sleep
Reduce Fatigue
Reduce unpleasant sensation from chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN)
Increase function in areas affected by scar tissue resulting from surgery and radiation
Reduce post-surgical swelling and support rehabilitation and recovery
Support the lymph system and assist with lymphedema management
Improve body awareness and image
Currently, the single cost for an oncology massage is $75.
On average, our clients spend 18 months to 2 years in our program receiving one massage per month. When you become a partner, you will be joining hands with a client by providing them with one massage per month. Charges will occur on a monthly basis.
