Edie Tolbert

Founder & Executive Director

In January 2008, Edie was diagnosed with Stage 0 DCIS breast cancer. It was through her cancer journey of two years, that she found her new purpose, to serve and support others battling cancer. At her annual appointment in 2018, the doctor deemed her “cured” after 10 years of being cancer free!

With the opening of Stonebrook Day Spa, she began to offer complementary massage therapy services to breast cancer patients as well as survivors. Soon she realized there were many others in treatment for many types of cancer and she knew they would benefit from the complementary massage therapy services. In order to meet the growing needs of cancer patients, Edie launched The Stonebrook Project, Inc. in November 2017.

Edie holds a AS in Business Administration and 20+ years experience in business. She specializes in meeting with cancer patients, putting them at ease and determining their “care plan” to help with their physical and emotional healing.

Edie is married to Ronnie of 39 years, two daughters Tiffany and Brittney, son-n-law Chris and granddaughter Ella.
